Save both to the same folder. At first launch the app finds the model pack next to itself — or in your Downloads folder — and imports it without downloading anything.

At first launch
What the app does before it talks
- Checks the model pack against its recorded size and digest. A file that does not match is deleted, never loaded.
- Measures your machine once and tells you what it can run, in tokens a second.
- Asks the model one question it knows the answer to. A build that answers wrongly is stopped and reported, never served.
- Talks. Your conversation is answered on your computer and is not sent anywhere.
