1.Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Mimicur Inc. (“Mimicur”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites, Studio, Crew workspaces, consent-gated voice features, and related services (the “Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you have questions at any point, contact us at office@hollywoodreborn.com.
2.Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form) when you register, or profile details shared by a sign-in provider you choose to connect.
- Payment information — when you buy credits, our payment processor Stripe collects your payment card details. We never receive or store full card numbers; we keep records of your purchases, credit balance, and transaction history.
- Content you create — the scripts you write, the characters and voices you select, your projects, and the videos you generate with the Service.
- Crew workspace information — agent names and roles, missions, instructions, conversation history, provider mode, appearance settings, and other workspace data you choose to save.
- Voice enrollment information — the live challenge recordings you submit, the challenge and consent records associated with enrollment, security and quality results, and the resulting voice identifier. Voice enrollment is restricted to adults enrolling their own voice.
- Usage and device information — log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and actions taken in the Service, used for security, rate limiting, and improving the product.
- Communications — messages you send us, such as support requests.
3.How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide and operate the Service, including creating your videos and maintaining your projects and credit balance;
- operate your account-isolated Crew workspace, display its saved configuration, and send prompts to a supported provider only when you deliberately use a connected mode;
- verify voice-enrollment challenges, create and operate an enrolled voice, record consent, detect replay or impersonation attempts, and respond to revocation requests;
- process purchases and prevent fraud and abuse;
- send transactional email such as account verification, receipts, and important service notices;
- respond to support requests;
- understand how the Service is used so we can improve it;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the scripts you write or the videos you create to advertise to you.
4.Payments (Stripe)
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you make a purchase, your payment details are transmitted directly to Stripe and handled under Stripe’s privacy policy and security standards. We receive confirmation of the transaction and limited billing metadata (such as the last four digits of your card) so we can show you your purchase history.
5.Email (Resend)
We send email — such as verification messages, receipts, and service announcements — through Resend, our email delivery provider. Resend processes your email address and message content on our behalf solely to deliver those messages.
6.Hosting and security (AWS)
The Service is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Data is protected in transit with TLS encryption, and we apply access controls so that only authorized systems and personnel can reach it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information with industry-standard safeguards, and we will notify you as required by law if a breach affects your data.
9.Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. During preview, Crew configuration and conversation history are saved under your signed-in account in the current installation and remain there until you clear them or remove that application data. Voice consent and security records may be retained after voice deletion when needed to document authorization, prevent abuse, or comply with law. Transaction records are retained as required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify server-held personal information within a reasonable period except where retention is legally required.
10.Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights by emailing office@hollywoodreborn.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
11.Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Voice enrollment is available only to adults. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will investigate and delete it as required.
12.International users
Mimicur is operated from the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored there. If you use the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
13.Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will give you reasonable notice — for example by email or a notice in the Service — before it takes effect. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
